Today a colleague of mine (thanks, Stefan!) demoed a retrospective data collecting step that he invented... (hereafter called the Blond-ROTI chart) it was amusing and fast and effective. We were asked to rate, on a scale of 1-10, how we felt about various aspects of the iteration... and to come up with additional dimensions to rate as well. He gave us 10 minutes (for a team of 12) to do this, and then we spent 20 minutes afterwards discussing items that we felt strongly about. It was effective because it gave everyone a chance to get quick feedback on a subject that maybe wouldn't be discussed otherwise. Anyway, the data collection began as follows:

People added a tick next to their rating, and then quickly added other topics. The white board became a hotly contested resource... people were scrambling for markers and/or room to write.
